Wild Celia are the indie pop duo of school friends Eimile and Tommy who have recently signed to Marquee Records. Inspired by ’70s and ’80s alternative artists like Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac, their new track is a deeply emotive one. It’s called Waiting for the Love.

Waiting for the Love opens with a vibrant acoustic rock energy. There’s a sense of vulnerability in it, particularly coming from Eimile’s soulful vocals. As the track progresses, the energy ramps up but the vulnerability goes nowhere. It’s certainly one for those of us whose hearts ache.
Though this is the pair’s debut release under their new record label, Eimile has been performing since 2012, previously under the moniker Moon. The two together cut an exciting prospect. Fans of acoustic folk rock need to check them out. You can listen to Waiting for the Love below.
