Discovery: Nalgo Bay

Nalgo Bay are an alternative rock duo who hail from just up the road in Scarborough. Though the duo is new to us, one half of it isn’t. Terri-Ann Prendergast has featured on our pages before as a solo act with quite a different sound. Teaming up with Harry Bullen, the pair make pop rock akin to Snow Patrol, Florence & The Machine, and Fleetwood Mac. Their latest track is called Amsterdam.

Album Review: The Glass Pavilion – When The Blazing Sun Is Gone

The Glass Pavilion is the solo instrumental project of Leeds-based former York University student Ashley Owens. It emerged as the silver lining to a medically-induced retirement from guitar playing for Ashley, forcing a move into electronic sounds. His new album is called When The Blazing Sun Is Gone.
