Tanners, real name Tanner Peterson, is a New York, USA-based electro pop act who has just hit my radar through her powerful new track Milk Money.
By Graeme Smith
Milk Money is a track born from fear, written after walking home and feeling followed. From the fear, something beautifully light and airy has been born which somewhat disguises the darkness of the lyrics. The elements swirl together to create something that’s greater than the sum of its parts. I’ve not heard much like it.
Tanners takes her cues from contemporaries like Tame Impala, Rina Sawayama, as well as classic acts such as Fleetwood Mac. Fans of any of those artists will find a lot to love about her music. You can check out Milk Money below.
