Spain-born, Cologne, Germany-based acoustic singer songwriter Luna Keller has become a favourite of mine since we first discovered her music at the end of 2020. Since then, we’ve shared a veritable cornucopia of her releases, the latest being Wolves, a tribute to Twitch streamers Alex and Lyca.

Around this time last year, Lyca sadly passed away. It was Lyca’s love of wolves that inspired the name of Luna’s track and the love and grief comes through clearly in every note sung and played. Luna’s vocals are the star of the show as always, though she does have to share that stardom with the wolves howling at the end of the track, recorded live at the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.

Luna’s music is always emotionally powerful, but Wolves feels particularly poignant. You can give it a listen below.
