goodbyes is a pop song- I’m not normally a massive fan of modern pop music, but when it’s this good, how can I not like it? It’s actually got quite a folky quality at times – the strings in the background are really gorgeous! townsend’s vocals are full of emotion throughout, with the strings adding a nice backbone, alongside the drum beats. The track mixes together multiple genres in an amazing way, so it should appeal to a wide variety of listeners.
