I found the lyrics to Pearly Gate Crashers utterly captivating. It takes traditional imagery and turns them on their heads, all while peopling the unconventional story with vibrant characters. Esme’s delivery is lively, kind of like a more offbeat George Ezra. The comparison is perfect. Esme is beautifully unique.
