Love Always, SKM is the new project of Brighton-based singer songwriter Jimmy Herrity. When I heard his track The Woods I just knew I had to share it.

There are times when a song captivates me right from its first few notes and that’s exactly what The Woods does. Extremely stripped-back, a single strummed acoustic guitar chord accompanies Jimmy’s soulful vocals. Laid bare, then, is its nostalgic and heart-breaking story, beautifully brought to life through Jimmy’s storytelling lyrics. It’s a masterpiece.
