New Music: Nobody’s Wolf Child – Big Bad Wolf

South East England-based alternative pop artist Nobody’s Wolf Child has become a regular on our blog since I first shared her video The Fall at the beginning of the year. It feels only appropriate we end the year with her too. Her latest track is called Big Bad Wolf.

Nobody’s Wolf Child likes to release her singles in trilogies, and Big Bad Wolf is the second instalment of her latest cycle. It’s a dark one, channelling the Gothic energy of Grimm fairy tales but subverting the Red Riding Hood story we all know so well. The message is: perhaps the Big Bad Wolf isn’t out there, but within each and every one of us. Delivered through an experimental electronic arrangement, it’s perhaps Nobody’s Wolf Child’s best release to date.

You can give Big Bad Wolf a listen below.
