Slade UK, the top tribute act to the Brummie Rockers, will be at York’s Victoria Vaults on Christmas Eve to play all the band’s hits, including the perennial favourite Merry Xmas, Everybody.

Slade’s cheeky hit from 1973 was one of the band’s smashes. The band were one of the most successful bands of the 1970s, achieving 17 consecutive top 20 hits and six number ones on the UK Singles Chart.  

‘We’re really looking forward to having Slade UK at the Vaults,’ said Chris White, the venue’s owner and manager. ‘It’s going to be a great evening and a lot of fun.’ 

The event also features DJ Garry Hornby. 

The event has an earlier start of 7pm.
