Bethan Lloyd is a Cardiff-based electronic pop artist who has just caught my attention thanks to her ode to letting go. It’s called Cutting Circuits.

With a steady groove, Cutting Circuits is as much a dance track as it is a deep emotional exploration. There’s a uniqueness to Bethan’s sound, with almost folky vocals marrying with modern electronica instrumentals. It’s something that’s already been celebrated across the press in Wales and the blogosphere. Adam Walton of BBC Wales described her as sounding “like nobody but herself.” I have to agree.
