MINT are an alternative rock pop band from Bradford who have had a bit of a turbulent history. A year ago, they returned from a six-year, drug-addiction-induced hiatus after a decade of touring. The trio have come back swinging with the emotive Devil.

The vocals for Devil were recorded during a comedown and the pain of every word feels authentic. The story of the track explores the effect drugs have on those around the addict, a story that can only be told by those who have experienced it and come to that sobering realisation themselves.

We’re only just discovering MINT now and I’m glad we didn’t lose them before I could. Here’s to plenty more years of their music!
