Based in Timisoara, Romania, Thy Veils is an innovative electronic pop group that have recently hit my radar. Their latest track celebrates the concepts of unity and togetherness and is called Influx.

Opening with hypnotic bass and drums, Influx immediately sets a spiritual tone, which is further enhanced by synths and dreamy vocals. Thy Veils sound mixes traditional folk elements with modern electronica in a way that makes it feel timeless and universal.

Thy Veils was founded by Daniel Dorobanțu, who is joined by Mircea Ardeleanu Jr. on bass and Maria Hojda on vocals. Though new to us, the project started way back in 1995, becoming one of Romania’s most established ambient acts. You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Bandsintown.
