NOVACUB is a solo project of Louise Bartle, formerly of the legendary British indie rock band Bloc Party.

Her latest single This Is Forever comes after a change in line-up for NOVACUB, which was once a four piece consisting of Iona Thomas on bass and harp, Tony Alda on drums and Russell Lissack, also of Bloc Party, though Russell still features on the single.

This Is Forever is a love song, dedicated to Louise’s girlfriend, and the love flows through it and into your soul. A warm guitar riff meets bright electronica and authentic vocals. It’s simply a joy.

It’s going to be great to see how Louise takes the project and one thing in no doubt is that’s she’s got the musical pedigree to smash it.
