Nashville, USA indie rock band The Thing With Feathers has been making regular appearances on our blog since we first discovered them at the end of 2021. Their latest features influences from both ends of the indie rock spectrum, including The 1975 and The Strokes. It’s called Everything I’m Missing.

Opening with a slow, pop-punk-esque guitar riff, Everything I’m Missing quickly hits an emotive groove in its first verse, ahead of an explosive and lively chorus. The lyrics are heart-rendering, as are the passionate vocals. It’s everything we’ve come to expect from one of our favourite bands.
The Things With Feathers are gaining momentum on the international music scene, and it’s easy to see why when they keep releasing approachable indie rock like this. You can give Everything I’m Missing below.
