Jacko Hooper is a Brighton-based singer songwriter who has been in the music industry for ten years, and hit our radar in 2021 courtesy of his wonderfully emotive track This Was The Earth. I loved it so much, I still play it now, so I was very pleased to see he had a new track and video out. It’s called Getting No Place Fast.

Getting No Place Fast explores Jacko’s mental state circa 2020 when, for reasons other than the pandemic, he found himself in crisis. As you’d expect, the track doesn’t hold back on the emotion, but there is also a bright vibrancy to it as well. Soft rock elements mix with folk in a song that will tug at your heartstrings from start to finish.
