Andrea Ward is a New York City, USA-based multi-instrumentalist, dancer, choreographer and film-maker who has just welcomed me into her unique world through her track and video Awake At Night.

Awake At Night explores the restlessness that comes from knowing there’s something in your life that’s not right. As such, it’s suitably dreamy, opening with gentle, eccentric percussion and an eeriness that reflects the world of the subconscious. Andrea’s vocals float ethereally in the mix, sounding quite unlike anything I’ve heard before. It’s all a very stimulating brew.
