Americana duo Tapestri are new to us here at York Calling, but one half of them is very familiar. Lowri Evans is a Welsh singer songwriter who I had the pleasure of putting on at The Crescent here in York way back in 2016. Since then, alongside her solo career, she’s done some team ups, including with one of my personal favourites, Tom McRae. Tapestri sees her join forces with Sarah Zyborska.
