St. Austell, Cornwall-based psychedelic rock outfit I Am The Unicorn Head has been all over our blog recently thanks to their string of singles from their concept album Unicorns In Space. The latest chapter is a tale of seduction and it’s called I Fell In Love With A Space Slug.

Unicorns In Space follows a unicorn called “The Kid” travelling through the unknown. In this track, The Kid is entranced by the queen of a strange purple planet. Musically, the story is told through raw, retro indie rock and characterful vocals, but it’s the lyrics that really catch the ear. Wonderfully descriptive and bonkers.
