New York, USA-based singer songwriter Emmrose has been making regular appearances on our blog since I first discovered her last Spring. Her latest single speaks of forgiveness, letting go and moving forward. It’s called 17 Inside.

There was a period in time when pretty much all of us were confined to our homes, and it wasn’t easy for anyone. For Emmrose, it happened in her seventeenth year, and in this track she ruminates on the might-have-beens of the pandemic lockdown period of her life. As ever, the story is beautifully told, with captivating, poetic lyrics.
