It’s been just over a year since we last shared music from Adelaide, Australia-based folk pop singer songwriter Justina Ward but now she’s making a welcome return with her new single Be Still.

Be Still is an ode to the self, and a call to eschew the temptation of distraction and repression to confront difficult feelings. Lyrically, it’s suitably hard-hitting given the subject matter but the gloom is tempered by Justina’s unique and bright performance. Be Still is such a wonderfully fresh-sounding song.

With a background in theatre and TV as well, Justina is truly a woman of many talents. I sincerely hope I get to share more of her music soon. You can check out Be Still below.
