The Philosopher has that classic old school blues sound, featuring some killer guitar licks and an organ playing along nicely in the background. The rhythm is slightly waltzy, seeing the guitars follow the bass and beat in a wonderful way. The vocals are a little quiet at times, however they really soar on the chorus.
