Sydney, Australia-based psychedelic rock artist Morrison Reed is one of my all time favourite discoveries on this blog, but I’ve not shared any of his music since 2021. I was so excited when I saw he had a new track out. It’s called Electrify.

Electrify brings all the down and dirty jazz rock elements that I’ve come to expect from Morrison’s work but, like Dylan, he’s gone electric. The track is rich with electro punk overtones mingling with cantering retro rock and fuzzy, freaky bass. Be careful, it’s likely to give you a buzz.
The track marks a welcome return to the blog for a true musical innovator. Hopefully it won’t be so long before I’m sharing more by him. You can check out Electrify below.
