Mystick Fool is the musical project fronted by American multi-instrumentalist Galen Deery. Galen has been playing music since the age of seven, inspired by eastern spirituality and the natural world around him. His latest was born of out respect for the northernmost state in the US, Alaska. It’s called Gone With The Wind.

The sounds of bird calls and wind blowing creates an instant atmosphere in Gone With The Wind. Layered on top of that are looping percussive and electronic melodies, as well as Galen’s smooth and soulful vocals. There’s a sense of idealism in his words as they paint a picture of nirvana here on earth.

Using looping technology, Galen performs on stage alone, playing drums, ukulele, piano, didgeridoo, guitar, tanpura and harmonium. He’s a truly unique performer with a hopeful message we all need a taste of. You can check out Gone With The Wind for yourself below.
