It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Essy, so it’s great to finally have more music to share from the American indie pop starlet.

Any Man is quite stripped down at first, opening with a quiet piano melody that accompanies Essy’s soft vocals. After a while, more instrumentation kicks in, although Essy’s vocals still remain the highlight of the tune. The music is soft and quiet sounding, building up slowly in the background as the vocals work their magic.
