TINKR is the alterative pop act of Brighton-based Jess Tinker. She’s just hit my radar thanks to her frustrated cry against the modern world of dating. It’s called peace in wonderland.

As the title suggests, peace in wonderland is a dreamy, ethereal track. A stripped-back intro showcases Jess’s soulful and character vocals before the arrangement starts to kick up. It’s a pop track, but it’s giving us something different what you’d hear on the radio. Created completely independently in her bedroom studio, Jess has had the freedom to take the song in any direction she liked.

For the track, Jess has teamed up with producer Poykin and songwriter Georgia Bue-Smith. Backing vocals come from Zehra Guler. You can check out peace in wonderland for yourself below.
