Anyone who has been following this blog will know I love the work of Los Angeles, USA-based pop singer songwriter Mia Mormino. I’ve featured no less than five of her tracks before now and always get excited when I see she has a new one out. Her latest is called Crybaby.

Crybaby is a track that looks inward at the music industry itself, and expresses frustration at how competitive it is. In it, Mia shows genuine emotion, looking at other artists blow up while she’s still struggling for attention. It’s a lyrical message that could be mistaken for sour grapes, but Mia’s charismatic style and her punchy instrumental arrangement has you feeling right alongside her.

Mia truly is bringing something fresh to the pop genre and it’s only a matter of time before she gets the attention she deserves. You can check out Crybaby below.
