Swedish singer-songwriter Agnes Skure is a new face on the folk scene, bringing a great amount of joy with her wonderful little ditties.

Song To A Magpie is quite a minimalist song, featuring just an acoustic guitar playing underneath Agnes’ gorgeous vocals. However, the guitar sounds fabulous here, playing a lovely fingerpicked melody that is delightfully playful. Agnes also has a wonderful voice, following the main guitar melody perfectly. The backing vocals are used well, accentuating the lead vocals as the track progresses. Those that like their folk music should get a kick out of this track if they take a chance on Agnes’ music!
