Bonze is a London-based electronic pop artist who I’ve featured a few times already on this blog. Jack Reardon is the man behind the project, and for his latest single he’s teamed up with Fred Clough of San Scout, Duncan Brookfield and Joseph Payne. It’s called Obliterate Me.
By Graeme Smith
Obliterate Me gives us Jack’s dark side – the side that is destructive and turns to the wrong things to numb pain. I think we can all relate, especially as he brings the emotion to life through experimental, moody instrumentals and mournful vocals. Genre-wise, it’s a difficult track to classify, with elements of ’90s trance mingling with modern pop and metal. It’s all the better for it.
Jack spends his days working as a trained psychotherapist so it’s not surprising that the mental condition is a big part of his creative output. He continues to impress with his unique brand of pop. You can check out Obliterate Me for yourself below.
