Menaura is a post-rock/shoegaze band based in London, doing something very different from the traditional rock norms.

Suburbia is the title of Menaura’s latest release – it starts with a driving guitar melody, before the fast beat kicks in. In typical shoegaze style, the vocals are a little distant sounding when they appear, although that’s to be expected from a song of this genre. The track is also suitable for those into their rock and indie, as it melds different styles together. The music has a wall of sound vibe to it, due to the immense riffs and the rhythm section. Dynamically, it changes occasionally into a mellower tune, keeping your interested piqued throughout. Take a listen here:
