Joel Ansett is a singer songwriter based in Denver, USA. He’s just hit my radar thanks to his wonderfully poetic new track called It Takes a Long Time to Wait.

When I heard It Takes a Long Time to Wait, I knew I had to share it. Its heart-breaking lyrics were instantly captivating and infinitely memorable. They’re delivered through powerful yet understated emotion and a delicate arrangement consisting of piano and vocals that prove that less is more. The song is nothing less than perfection.

Since moving to Denver in 2014, Joel has gathered fans locally and across the world. His music has featured in Marvel’s The Punisher, and he’s been given favourable coverage in The Huffington Post.
