German electro pop artist Mflux has been appearing on these pages in various guises for years now and he remains one of my favourite discoveries for this blog. His latest sees him team up with singer Kiku and it’s called Electric Carfé.

Electric Carfé is a moody and chill piece, with a strong sense of atmosphere and a compelling groove. It brings to mind the night-time, especially when Kiku’s sultry vocals come in, soulfully contrasting the electronic layers of Mflux’s instrumentals. As with all of Mflux’s track, the composition is constantly developing meaning it never gets staid of stale.
