La Mer is a new piece of music created by French artist Louis Fontaine, taken from his new album, Ritmi Moderni.

La Mer is an instrumental track, but don’t let that put you off, as it really is an outstanding piece of work. It’s pretty hard to characterise by genre, as there’s so much in there, although it’s quite cinematic at times. The strings create the main melody that weaves its way in and out of the piece, alongside a funky bassline and some unique percussion stylings. There’s also a hint of the world music genre in there, adding something even more distinctive into the mix. Take a chance on La Mer and see what you think!
