Megan and Shane are an American country rock duo who have featured a couple of times before on our blog. Most recently, I shared their single Rose Colored Glasses at the beginning of April, and now they’re back with another new one. It’s called Magic Rocks.

For Magic Rocks, Megan and Shane went psychedelic, and delved into folklore, more specifically the fable Stone Soup. Yet, its inspiration is more modern, and the track was written in the days following the Capitol riots. As ever, we get the wonderful contrasting vocal textures and the rich Americana we’ve now come to expect from Megan and Shane.
