Etim-Inyang is a London-based Nigerian contemporary R&B artist who has just hit my radar thanks to his vulnerable and heartfelt new single Caretaker.

Caretaker is a wonderfully diverse and interesting track. It combines experimental electronic textures with classic R&B sentiments into something that feels unique. Thematically, the lyrics are heart-warming, with an attention to detail that brings its story to life. The icing on the cake is Etim-Inyang’s sultry and captivating vocals. It all combines to create something sublime.

As well as singing, Etim-Inyang also plays clarinet and saxophone. A true Renaissance man, he’s certainly one that I’ll be keeping an eye on.
