It’s incredibly rare that we get music sent to us from the Czech Republic to review, so Hudba Lyrika’s new single Kobalt came as a very welcome surprise indeed!

Kobalt is a neoclassical song, containing a haunting beauty throughout. It’s a piano instrumental track, although the backing effects used are stunning, conjuring up evocative images in the mind. It’s actually quite ambient sounding at times, making for something a little different to the modern neoclassical norms. The piano seems a little simplistic at first, but it really does the job, taking you through the full raft of the emotional spectrum as you listen to Kobalt. If that sounds good, you can find it here:
