San Diego, USA-based JUNK are no strangers to this blog at this point, having made five appearances this year alone. The prolific experimental jazz act always come back with something fresh and their latest is no exception. It’s called Squakin like a Bird!

The target in the crosshairs for Squakin like a Bird! is internet gossip mongers who choose the share dangerous rumours and conspiracies. The track starts gently enough with the ambient sound of birdsong but grows into a hip hop groove with vicious rapped lyrics.
JUNK are Aaron “Dubl A” Seener, Dale “Dirty D” Pearson and Nik “Anthem” Mathews. They continue to bring funky and genre-defying music to the world.
