I recently shared None Other Than Dirty D by San Diego, USA-based nu jazz collective JUNK, and now they’re already back on the blog courtesy of their track Blow.

JUNK are Dubl A the Bass master and Dirty D the Sax Junkie, the latter of which has appeared on these pages before as a solo artist. They self-style their music as “musical narcotics” and that’s perhaps the only way to describe it. Blow is an intoxicating mix of jazz and funk, and comes with the highs and lows of a drug-fuelled bender. It’s frankly incredible the rich soundscape the pair create from their respective instruments.
