JUNK, the American nu jazz collective created by saxophonist Dirty D, have been releasing new music thick and fast, and each new gem is a worthy addition to these pages. Their latest is perhaps their most far out yet. It’s called Frogadelic.

Frogadelic envisions a psychedelic world where, void of humans, the forest, and the amphibians within it, are having a funky rave. There is both humour and soul in its arrangement, one that the band compared to a “sonic mushroom.”
