Bromsen is an electro-rock duo from Berlin, with both members having a vast array of influences that shines through in their music to make it sound unique. We! was our first introduction to Bromsen, but I’m sure that it won’t be the last, as they’re just that good! Find out more about this amazing duo below!

You recently released a single titled We! What can you tell us about the track?
The song is very personal and the inspiration is actually our own deep friendship which exists for more than 20 years. We have celebrated many good moments together and have helped each other through quite some low blows in life.
How has the reception to We! been so far, and where can the song be purchased?
The song has been well received so far and can be purchased on all the major platforms. There will also be a music video of the song, coming out in the middle of May.
Do you plan to release any more singles in the near future?
Yes and there is some exciting news coming up. We have just partnered with the label Epictronic and are working with full power on the completion of our debut album Brothers in Mind. A 4th single is also planned. More news on this and our new collaboration will follow in early July.
Your music has an electro-rock sound. What/who influences you most as artists? What have you been listening to recently?
We are currently so occupied with our own stuff that we barely have time to listen to any other music, but of course we have been influenced by various sources like the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Nirvana etc. We also like the sound of the 80’s which brought out some notable and quirky bands.
Both members of Bromsen performed together for many years before starting the project. Why did you decide to get back together? How do you think your songwriting has progressed since you first got together?
We are bit more relaxed. In the early days we were quite an arrogant bunch, convinced we were the best band in the world. While we are still convinced of that fact (lol), we don’t take ourselves too seriously nowadays, which makes the songs even better.
Do you have anything else exciting coming up this year?
Yes, 2023 is Bromsen time. Our debut album will come out in Q3/Q4 this year and we’ll be looking forward to doing some live concerts afterwards and maybe a little tour.
Am I right in thinking you’re based in Berlin? How is the local music scene faring at the moment?
Yes, we are based in Berlin but not connected to a scene. I think other than in smaller cities or even Hamburg, Berlin is such a big pot where everyone cooks their own soup (and we have a good hot chili soup on our stove).
Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?
Yes, we are doing London, Liverpool, Manchester and many more – the only question Is when? Probably this year or next year ? We’ll see!
Any last words for the fans?
It is time for a proper Bromsen-Alarm J – go and spread the news – we’ll be with you all soon.
