Hospital Corner is the alternative rock project of Edinburgh-based Chris Finn. He’s just caught my attention thanks to his bombastic latest single Seasonal Change.

For the track, Chris threw off the shackles of his usual sound and cranked the rock up to eleven. He had but one rule – “more is more!”. The result is an emotional piece that slowly builds through its intro before hitting a cantering, jangly composition. The expressive vocals prove a highlight, delivering lyrics about battling depression.

If you’re into classic rock like Smashing Pumpkins and Bruce Springsteen, then you’re going to find a lot to love about Seasonal Change. The track was mixed by Tommy Phillips, Mastered by Tom Woodhead at Hippocratic Mastering, and is released via In Black Records. You can give it a listen below.
