Florida, USA-based Morning Trips have featured once before on this blog. In March, I was introduced to their unique bedroom pop sound through their track An Imaginary Life. Now they’re back with a quick-fire stream of consciousness track called Processin’.

Processin’ opens with a ringing guitar riff before quickly hitting a lively and emotive groove. Distorted vocals mix the organic with the digital in the perfect way. It’s a track that doesn’t waste a moment. In one minute and 44 seconds, it’s all over, but the arrangement is so dense, it doesn’t feel as if it needs to be any longer.

Relentessly positive, Morning Trips’ slogan is “SUPER BEST CASE SCENARIO”. It’s an infectious attitude, and one that comes across in their music. They have an EP release set for July and you can listen to Processin’ below.
