Rainham, Kent-based alternative rock artist Estelle Mey burst onto my radar back in March through her powerful anthem Snake (Rejection). Now she’s back with a new track and psychedelic video. It’s called LATE (Dino Song).

LATE opens with a driving guitar riff before Estelle’s attitude-rich voice come in. Half-sung, half-screamed, Estelle sure knows how to catch your attention with her vocals and LATE is about as hard as rock gets, especially during its climactic close where Rob Dowsett’s drumming is particularly sublime.

Estelle’s previous single Snake was picked up by BBC Radio 1 Future Alternative, Amazing Radio and Radio X. She’s definitely one to watch on the UK rock scene.
