American composer and musician Johnboybeats adds something a little different to the chill-hop genre on his new release.

Flowers is actually rather funky, also having something of a jazz vibe about it. The beat stays fairly steady throughout, creating a nice musical backbone to this pretty piece of work. The saxophone is the real stand out point of the track though, weaving in and out of the rest of the music in a groovy way. The keyboards add something a little extra as well, improving the overall ambience of the tune.
