Swedish singer-songwriter and musician Elvira Alfaro returns with another new banging track, this time called Season 8.

Season 8 is a dreamy pop-rock song with an irresistibly catchy sound – the main chord sequence is wonderful, especially when the beat properly kicks in on the chorus. The changing dynamics between the verses and choruses work really well together, going from a mellower verse sound to a slightly heavier anthemic chorus. Elvira’s vocals are also very passionate throughout, containing a lot of soul within her well-written lyrics. This is one of my favourite songs of the year so far!
