Ships On An Ocean is a cracking new tune from one of my favourite new Canadian indie rock bands, Jane’s Party.

Indie rock has died down a little since its noughties heyday, but Jane’s Party show that it’s still live and kicking with Ships On An Ocean. The dynamics are used well, going from a slower, more minimalist verse to a heavier chorus, creating more variety within this cracking tune. The vocals croon along effortlessly, containing a great deal of soul, elevating the song even higher on the epic chorus. Just try and listen to this without wanting to sing along!
