Canadian indie-pop band Valley is back with another slice of musical heaven, in the form of Have A Good Summer (Without Me).
By Jane Howkins
Despite the melancholy themes, Have A Good Summer (Without Me) is fairly upbeat, seeming rather bittersweet as a whole. It’s undeniably catchy, and whilst there are elements of modern mainstream pop thrown in there (particularly with the vocals style), it’s a little different from the commercial norms. It’s great to hear a full band making this type of music, and especially when it’s this good! If you’re into your indie-pop music, you’re sure to get a kick out of this!
