Christopher Willis is a composer who works primarily on cinematic soundtracks, with Fireflies being his wonderful new release.

Fireflies was composed for the animated film Lamya’s Poem, but it’s also something you can listen to without watching the movie. It’s a gorgeous piece of classical music – whilst it does have a typical cinematic bent, it also includes some wonderful orchestration, going through several different movements as the track progresses. The music ebbs and flows, changing the dynamics throughout to truly play on your emotions. I cannot wait to hear what Christopher comes up with next time around, as this is simply beautiful.
