Brooklyn, USA-based alternative rock outfit Mooncult are a four-piece who have just hit my radar thanks to their catchy yet hard-hitting new track Leave Me Here.

Leave Me Here opens with grungy, psychedelic guitar and attitude-laden vocals. There’s a sense of DIY about it all, as well as free-spirited punk. While its melody is catchy, there’s definitely enough in it for the rebels at heart too. If you like your rock without frills then you need to check out this track.

Mooncult are Raven Mystere on vocals, Tia Cestaro on drums, Grover Doyle on bass and Rajeev Ananda on guitar. Leave Me Here is their second single, recorded at La Fam and mixed and mastered at The Cone. You can give it a listen below.
