Miami, USA-based pop artist Jacqueline Loor has featured a few times before on this blog. She first came to my attention in 2021 thanks to her intimate track I Broke My Heart and since then we’ve shared I’m Done With You and Malos. Yet, it’s been over a year since she last featured on these pages. That’s about to change thanks to her new one Nothing I Wouldn’t Do.
By Graeme Smith
Jacqueline’s latest is one that opens low and moody, with layers of synth and isolated, sultry vocals. Through the first verse, it slowly builds, reaching an ethereal and atmospheric chorus. The lyrics are dark, exploring the idea of a toxic relationship that develops into an obsession.
Nothing I Wouldn’t Do was co-written by Jacqueline and Drew Henmi. You can give it a listen below.
