Irish classical composer and pianist André Goyvaerts is a fantastic new discovery of mine, suiting anyone into the classical genre!

Aubade is our first introduction to this amazing musician’s work, but it surely won’t be our last! It’s quite a subtle piece of music, belonging more to the neoclassical style. The piano is the only form of instrumentation used on this track – it sounds fairly simplistic at first, but it’s a real delight to listen to. André’s fingers lightly play across the piano in a wonderful way, using the slight dynamics well here. It’s quite a short track, leaving you longing for more after you’ve played it once.
